"Hero" (you know...the one with Jet Li and Zhang Ziyi) was just on Channel U...and I have to say that the story was one of the most brilliant I've seen in a while. Yes, I realize that the movie's fairly old, but watching it for the first time was just...amazing. What I don't understand, though, is...why is it that a different version of the story was told, they were wearing different colored robes (went from orange to red to blue to green to white I believe)? I mean, artistically, it was aesthetically pleasing of course, but what was the reason behind it? Anyone know? Or am I just pondering over something completely pointless? Haha...

I'm currently downloading A Walk to Remember...it sounds a lot like a modern day Moulin Rouge minus the copious amounts of singing, but we'll see. Maybe I'll like it better. For some stupid reason, I confuse A Walk to Remember and The Road to Perdition in my head. Don't ask me why...it's just one of those stupid things that one really shouldn't think about too much.

Boston Legal's on right now...second favorite show...but why oh WHY did they have to cancel Grey's Anatomy tomorrow for the Emmy's?!?!? *roars* Oh and my knee hurts like hell...

And oh...Family Day meeting today...hit above our target of 30 :D Good stuff.

Went around a bit frustrated for most of the day...still am a bit...but I'll live. Gwar...I need to sort my life out and make up my mind at some point. But in the meantime...

Rehearsals for the concert are going pretty well...minus the fact that I'm shy about 8 violins, 5 violas, 3 cellos, and about 2 double basses. Hmm...drilled them to hell and back on Pirates of the Caribbean yesterday. Shame I won't be conducting that...least I'll be playing :D Oh and the concert date's been moved to January 20th. Wonder why they pushed it back a week...whatever...one more week of rehearsal is always good...right?

On a final note, I have to say that my 8 year old cousin is a better womanizer than I am. He walked into a semi circle of 5 university women, introduced himself and proceeded to "charm them" (as my mother aptly puts it) and within minutes has them laughing. Until...

Girls: Who do you think is the youngest one here?
Cousin: Umm...*points at one*
Girls: Haha okay...which one do you think is the oldest?
Me: Don't answer that.
Cousin: Umm....umm...
Me: No, really...don't.
Cousin: *points at one*
*general chaos breaks out*

Haha...it absolutely made my day though...even though he picks women up better than I do hahaha...that's all for now.
