Life updates:

Not much. June 4th concert has been postponed indefinitely because the VIP couldn't make it for that date so we'll just have to stand by until he's free. Started with NYPSO on Saturday mornings so now my Saturdays are more or less packed with my afternoon shot because there's no point in going back home for an hour before having to head back out for SNCO. Not that I'm complaining...I'm liking NYPSO better than I like BHSO because they're closer to my age group and people are friendlier there.

Laoshi knows what he's doing, I can tell, but he expects a lot from the orchestra considering it's only a school orchestra. Most of the strings have been playing for less than 2 years, and I know from experience that within those 2 years, it's very hard to learn pieces, even more so when it's the pieces that he's chosen. So I'll just do my best to encourage them and give them as much advise as I can before I head back.

Went to the IT show with YY, TP, and Zi on Friday. Wasn't that crowded when we got there (as in there were areas where you could swing your arms about and not hit anyone ^_^). I got myself a mouse that would've cost me about 45 percent more in the states, and it came with a matching mousepad. Not too bad considering the mousepad costs 30 USD by itself. Also got myself some Lightscribe DVDs to burn my data onto. For those of you that don't know, Lightscribe is a technology that uses your DVD burner as a labeler for the top of your recording medium as well. Generally, I'm quite happy with it because I'm sure it lasts longer than marker does and you don't have to worry (I think) about it fading. And it looks nice too :D

Supper tonight was ridiculous. I'd post some quotes up here, but it looks stupid when it's just typed and you weren't there.

And random thoughts...

But I have to work tomorrow. Haha...dinner with an old family friend tomorrow evening, and I'm watching this play called The Specialists (about classical musicians...a comedy) this weekend. The bugger's coming back in a few weeks, so that should make life interesting. Couple others are enlisting as well...should be visiting them eventually.

That's all! GOOD NIGHT!
