Hiiii everyone...really really really REALLY sorry about the lack of updates...they've been keeping us so fully occupied at orientation that I don't even have time to blog...I actually only have like..5 minutes now, but I'm doing alright. Tired and stressed (like most people in school should be) but doing quite okay.

Hope everyone's doing fine. Miss you all!

Massive packing going on in my room and not much free time nowadays coming down the home stretch...7 more days (6 more in half an hour). Gahhh...not many free days left. Let me know if you guys wanna hang out and I'll see what I can do.

On another note, anyone ever seen "Britain's Got Talent"? Amazing singer. Check it out.

So I've been on a sort of Mahler craze lately...trying to catch up on what I haven't heard yet. I just bought Sir Simon Rattle's recording of the "Resurrection" Symphony (I've been watching Rattle conduct on Youtube and I think he's like the coolest conductor ever). Since I'm pulling my second wisdom tooth out tomorrow, I've borrowed the scores for "Resurrection", "Symphony of a Thousand", and Number IX...the lethal one hahaha...for you non musicians, go look up "The Curse of the Ninth Symphony".

MC for 7 days...21 days till ORD! *rubs it in*

Well thinking about going back to the states, I can't help but start feeling really bad about, once again, leaving my parents alone in Singapore once again. My sister's in Hong Kong and I'm going off to study for at least 4 years...maybe more if I do get into medical school. Sometimes I wonder if they wonder "Those other parents get to keep their kids in Singapore all the way until 22 years old...if not longer...why can't our kids just do the same?" I feel that both of us being out so much is not fair to them...am I (are we) robbing them of time and memories that they're supposed to be having with us? *sigh* I just feel guilty that's all.

I was at the violin shop today as well since it's so close to the library...fell in love with this French violin by a maker named Lefrancois...I've never really gotten the chance to play on a French instrument before and I do like what I heard...the only problem is the price. SGD 9,000. *sigh* I don't know if I should tell my parents yet because I don't even know if I'm going to be serious about music or not. Guess we'll just see.

Will be on MC starting tomorrow until National Day, so I'll be packing, score studying, bumming at home, and maybe blogging. Lemme know if you wanna come visit! :D That's all for now.
